I used to love drawing thermometer charts back in college! If I wanted to save $1,000, I’d make a chart with 10 lines at $100 increments and color it in as I hit each milestone. We’ve all been there—you start out pumped and ready to tackle your goal. You’re tracking every dollar, sticking to your budget, and feeling like “I’ve got this!” Then, a few weeks later… work gets crazy. You’re exhausted. And suddenly, your money goals are the last thing on your mind.

Sound familiar? The trick is to keep going—even when motivation dips. Here’s how:

  • Acknowledge Everyday Wins
    You don’t have to wait until you hit your final goal to recognize your progress!
