Helpful Tips:

  • Relatively small parking lot, but easy to find space if arriving early during peak dining hours. Free parking options available.
  • Reservations required, need to book in advance (sometimes days in advance) to secure the date/time you want.
  • Upscale restaurant, averaging $50-100+ per person. Recommended for an intimate date night or special occasion.

2. Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

  • No reservations but if there’s a wait, you can use their touch-screen to add yourself to the dining queue.
  • Suggestion to arrive early during peak business hours as the restaurant is medium-sized and fills up quickly.
  • Great for casual outings or date nights.
  • Opt for the Waterford Lakes location for dinner & a movie at the Regal Waterford Lakes theatre.

  • If you choose to do Korean BBQ and have guests with allergies, you can typically request a new BBQ pan to cook with.
  • Guests with asthma or related conditions, note that the BBQ pans can produce a lot of smoke during the cooking process. I’d recommend going when it’s less busy to minimize the amount of smoke in the room.

Helpful Tips:

  • Located inside of Universal Orlando City Walk.
    • Paid parking is required if arriving prior to 6pm. General parking starts around $32+.
    • Reservations required. Booking in advance or morning-of to secure your preferred reservation time.
    • Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to reservation time to pay for parking, secure spot, and walk from the garage to the restaurant (approx. 10 minute walk). You will need to walk through security to enter City Walk.
  • The Cowfish offers a kids’ menu with fun options beyond sushi, like a chicken nugget bento box, which even my little brother can’t resist (it comes with a Rice Krispies treat and fruit!).

  • The Lake Buena Vista location is the easiest for parking. If visiting the Kirkman or I-Drive locations, I suggest arriving at least 5-10 minutes early as I typically experience higher-traffic volumes.
  • If traveling to/from Universal Orlando, checkout the Kirkman location (5 minutes away)
  • Sushi menus are available whether you choose the hibachi grill experience with a chef cooking in front of you, or if you choose to be seated in the dining area away from the hibachi grills.
  • Small groups who enjoy the hibachi show experience may be paired with other small groups. If you wish to dine with only your party, you may wish to make a request with the host or use their dining area away from the hibachi grills.
  • Family-friendly. Recommended if dining with others who prefer to explore non-sushi options.

  • You can park parallel on a nearby street or use the nearby parking garage. I recommend the parking garage as the street ways tend to get really packed (it is Miami after all).
    • Nearest garage: Palm Court Garage on 155 NE 38th St, Miami, FL 33137. Approx. 5+ minute walk to the restaurant.
  • Many people rate this restaurant over other Michelin star restaurants throughout Miami. This is hands-down one of my top 3 picks for sushi in Florida.
  • Limited menu at approx. $50-100+ per person, recommended for special outings or date nights.

  • If simply visiting Cocoa, check out the Cocoa Village location where there’s a multitude of small shops, activities and live music within walking distance.
    • You can park in the small lot next to the restaurant, parallel park on a nearby street, or use the larger parking lot approx. 3-5 minutes down the road. Many people use the larger parking lot as a central location within Cocoa Village; I recommend this for anyone who does not like to deal with parallel parking.
